Objectives Those who complete the study unit will understand what information literacy means and why a professional teacher needs information acquisition skills. They know the steps of the information acquisition process, the general basics of electronic information retrieval, and how to search for material from domestic and foreign databases. They also know how to plan and carry out a relevant information search on the chosen topic. The completion of the course includes a preliminary assignment, one online teaching session and learning tasks.
