Objectives The student will first create a development task and its intended learning outcomes and then plan the methods to obtain and display the competence defined by the learning outcomes.
Content The student will carry out a development task bearing on vocational education or professional teacher education. This task can be finalized alone, or as a part of a group, or with representatives of working life. The task can be, for example, planning, data retrieval or creating teaching materials; or assisting in these. The undertaking can originate from the student(s) or it can be a request from others. The suitability of the proposition should be verified with the tutor before commencing the task.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.

Further Information Independent or team work. This course can extend (depending on the success and complexity of the task) from one to six study credits.

After completing the task, the student will submit his/her competence for recognition using the Ossi information system’s Other studies field. The teachers responsible for the module are usually the student’s own tutors.
