| Prerequisites | Good skills in written and spoken Finnish. |
| Objectives | The students are able to compile reports written in good formal style. The students can search for and deal with information of their field and use sources in a critical way. The students are capable of drawing up a small-scale research report. Students know the principles and practices of communication in meetings and negotiations. They can create materials such as agendas and memos. The students know the significance of internal and external communication in the business. |
| Content | The characteristics of formal style: language, structure and style, reporting, structure of research report and writing dialogic text, reference technique and use of sources, grammatical correctness. Negotiation , videoconferences, meeting tecnique and documents, argumentation, job interwiew, internal and external communication. |
