M700CD91	Film Analysis (5 cr)
Prerequisites	After completing the course on Kuvallisen mediailmaisun tulkinta, the student has sufficient skills to be able to independently complete this course.
Objectives	The student is able to interpret the film and different levels of film narrative analytically. She/He is able to form a argumented opinion on the film he/she has seen at the level of description, argumentation, perspective and narration. The student knows the modes, genres and the most common features of the narrative film.
Content	An introduction to the theory of audiovisual narration from a film perspective. Interpreting a film and making film analysis based on the theory of interpretation and narration.
Recommended optional programme components	If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
