Qualified communication professionals are trained to work in expert positions in the traditional and new media industries. They will be able to produce content relying on the latest information, technology and their strong professional identity. To accommodate the needs of the rapidly changing world of media, special emphasis is placed on project management, the ability to develop one's own job description, and ability for interdisciplinary group work. Marketing skills and entrepreneurship are part of the students' professional competence.

The Option of Visual Design combines the latest technology and artistic aspects of visual design. The objective is to educate visual design professionals, who work in different capacities in graphic design and design of media. Students must have the visual perception, creativity and team work skills and the courage to take action.

Learning emphasizes learning by doing. Part of the teaching is conducted in English. Graduates are employed in advertising and communications agencies, audio-visual companies or in other sectors of visual design. Some of the graduates work in the field as independent entrepreneurs.
Creativity, reciprocality, research, co-operative and practical approaches are emphasized in the education. Project management, marketing strategies, internationalism and entrepreneurship are also underscored. The education is implemented and continuously developed in close collaboration with the evolving media industry. The studies can partially be completed virtually and also in our partner schools throughout the world.
