7W00DY22 Client-centered Assessment Process and Methods (9 cr)

Objectives The student has an understanding of the evaluative process being a part of the occupational therapy process, as well as of the factors affecting the trustworthiness and quality of the evaluative process. The student has knowledge about client-centred theories, models and frames of reference. The student is able to work in the student group's simulation exercises in accordance with the role of the therapy and can evaluate their skills in these interaction situations.
Content Client participating in the process of assessment. Practising the central assessment methods based on conceptual models and frames of reference of occupational therapy. Simulation exercises.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
