Objectives Part 1. Anatomy and Physiology
The student knows the key concepts of anatomy and physiology.
The student can name and locate human bones and joints and understand how joints work.
The student can name and locate the muscles of the human body and know their functions.
The student knows the structure, location and function of the nervous system and the main stages of development during foetal life.
The student understands the structure and function of the respiratory and circulatory systems and their importance to the functioning of the human body.

Part 2. Developmental Psychology
The student is able to describe psychological, social and cognitive development across the life span.

Part 3. Performance Skills, Performance Components and client factors in occupational therapy
The student knows motor, process, ethical and communication skills. the student recognizes their importance to human occupation and the environment.

The student knows the sensorimotor, cognitive, psychological and social components and abilities that affect human occupation.
The student recognizes that individual factors are made up of the client's values, beliefs and spirituality as well as body functions and structures.
