OT00DX65 Public Health Nursing in School and Student Health Care - Practical Training (3 cr)
Prerequisites The student has completed at least 140 CR in nursing degree programs.
Objectives The student knows the stakeholders involved in multidisciplinary collaboration and can work responsibly with them
The students knows the laws and regulations governing school and student health care
The student plans, implements and evaluates the monitoring of growth and development of school-age children and adolescents in cooperation with clients
The student knows vaccination practices
The student supports parents in parenting
The student assess the need for special support and follow-up care for children, school-age children, adolescents and their families
The student maintains and promotes a safe growing community and environment in collaboration with families and stakeholders
