SU00DY42	Local management in oral health care (3 cr)
Prerequisites	4th year dental hygienist students and 5th year dental students 1 ECTS.
Objectives	The student will be able to - explain the importance of human resource management methods in local management - apply evidence-based knowledge to the competence requirements of oral health care close managerial work - act as an oral health care expert and team leader in a multidisciplinary team - internalise the principles of continuing professional development and lifelong learning. - apply the principles of sustainable development in the work of an oral hygienist
Content	Responsibilities of an immediate superior in dental health care and multiprofessional teamwork. Work management, superior and subordinate in oral health care, life-long learning.
Recommended optional programme components	If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Accomplishment methods	Collaboration of University lectures 1 ECTS. 100 % attendance required in lectures. Oulu University of Applied Sciences 2 ECTS. Attendance required in lectures, group work and exam.
