Objectives | The student has gained knowledge about nutrition and its impact on the well-being of individuals and their communities. The student has gained knowledge about the most common special diets as well as about nutrition in the prevention and treatment of diseases. The student has gained basic knowledge about intensified nutrition and skills to assess nutritional status and give nutrition counselling. |
Content | Nutrients; nutrition recommendations; nutrition in the prevention and treatment of diseases; special diets; undernutrition and obesity; intensified nutrition; research methods used in food consumption studies; nutrition counselling. |
