Objectives The student understands mental health and well-being as a resource in growth and development, and as a part of the quality of life. The student understands what are the protective factors and risks for mental health. The student describes what is the impact of intolerable difficulties and obstacles, stress and crisis situations on human life cource, psychosocial wellbeing and mental health. The student knows the principles and strategies of coping with crisis. The student knows the legislation and principles of mental health services.
Content Concepts of mental health and well-being. Positive mental health. Protective and risks factors. Legislation and principles in mental health services. Stress and coping mechanisms. Coping with crisis. Principles of crisis counceling.
