YY00DU53	Finnish Communication in Research and Development (3 cr)
Prerequisites	Good written and oral knowledge of the Finnish language (language skills that correspond to at least level B2 in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Study course Finnish Communication Skills for Working Life or similar knowledge.
Objectives	I can write a thesis report and follow the conventions of the text genre. I can critically read different texts and use information sources appropriately. I can communicate in writing and orally about my research or development work as an expert to various target groups. I recognize my skills and areas for development.
Content	Written and oral reporting of the thesis, demonstration in the text and oral presentation, source criticism, academic literacy, reference practices, acting as an expert, informing and working in an expert group.
Recommended optional programme components	If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
