Objectives | The Student -is able to view ageing in elderly people-orientated way and assess wellbeing, health, physical functioning and the need of care and service. -is able to improve health and rehabilitation of elderly person multiprofessionally. -is able to provide evidence-based care for an elderly patient. -describes care and service networks of an elderly person and identifies the status and the role of relatives and their participation in elderly care. -understands etiological factors, the clinical picture, and special features of medical care of common geriatric disorders and diseases. -identifies challenges of elderly care. |
