OS00DX20 Outpatient Services (6 cr)
Prerequisites The student has successfully completed (or equivalent knowledge):
-Basics of Evidence Based Nursing - Practical training
-Emergency patient care
-Interprofessional Assessment of the Need for Patient Health and Social Service
-Multisectoral Medical Studies
-Basic Practical Training in Mental Health and Addiction Nursing


Outpatient Services
Objectives 1) The student implements client-centered assessment of care needs

Execution methods 1. I develop my skills by acquiring knowledge about reception and outpatient care through learning tasks and independent study.
2. I apply my nursing knowledge in exercies and simulation classes.
3. develop my knowledge of neurological and sensory disorders and their medical treatment through lectures and learning activities.
4. Demonstrate my knowledge in the theoretical part of the course.

The Student identifies factors associated with the prevalence and etiology of neurological and sensory disorders, names some symptoms, relevant tests and findings, and knows the basics of medical care.
