OS00DX20	Outpatient Services (6 cr)
Prerequisites	The student has successfully completed (or equivalent knowledge): -Basics of Evidence Based Nursing - Practical training -Emergency patient care -Interprofessional Assessment of the Need for Patient Health and Social Service -Multisectoral Medical Studies -Basic Practical Training in Mental Health and Addiction Nursing Outpatient Services
Objectives	1) The student implements client-centered assessment of care needs 2) The student provides care and guidance in an outpatient setting 3) The student evaluates the effectiveness of care and guidance 4) The student assesses the quality of care and makes suggestions for improvement 5) The student knows the service system, service network and care pathways in outpatient care 6) The student understands the importance of health promotion in outpatient care 7) The student plans vaccination in a safe, client-centred and evidence-based way 8) The student understands the prevalence, causative factors, symptoms, research findings and medical management of common neurological and sensory disorders

Execution methods	1. I develop my skills by acquiring knowledge about reception and outpatient care through learning tasks and independent study. 2. I apply my nursing knowledge in exercies and simulation classes. 3. develop my knowledge of neurological and sensory disorders and their medical treatment through lectures and learning activities. 4. Demonstrate my knowledge in the theoretical part of the course.

The Student interprets the results of examinations, plans and justifies care accordingly The Student uses evidence-based knowledge in the planning of vaccinations and is able to apply vaccination interventions in a client-centred way. The Student comprehensively defines the factors regarding the prevalence and etiology of neurological and sensory disorders, and specifies thoroughly the clinical picture, findings, and medical care.
