OS00DX18 Sexual- and reproductive health and guidance in nursing -practical training (6 cr)

Objectives Student
- practices client-centred counselling and, where possible, assess the impact of a woman's pregnancy, childbirth or other health change as part of the nursing process.
- identify and address sexual and reproductive health issues related to different ages and life situations (including the impact of illness and medication).
- can apply evidence-based knowledge in maternity and/or gynaecological nursing when working in different care settings and take into account the specificities of women's nursing.

Further Information Apprenticeship, i.e. a work placement; the student agrees this with the supervisor before the placement.

In the case of placements in units with children as clients/patients, a criminal record must be presented to the supervising teacher before the start of the placement.
