| Objectives | The Student - understands the nursing and medication of a person with chronic diseases according to the nursing process, based on evidence. - understands the symptomatic care of a terminally ill person and supporting them and their loved ones. - understands the risk factors that cause public health problems. - understands the importance and basics of patient guidance as part of guidance and nursing of chronic diseases. - understands epidemiology, etiology, symptoms and test findings, clinical pharmacology and medical treatment of chronic diseases. |

| Further Information | - If the student has completed equivalent studies at another university of applied sciences, the course can be approved on the basis of a HOT application and supporting documents. - If the student has a degree in nursing, part of the classroom exercises can be approved as indicated in the course info. The approval number will be agreed with the teacher in charge of the course at least one week after the info. - A calculator may not be used for the medical calculus examinations. |
