Description


OS00CF64 Palliative nursing and hospice care (5 cr)
Prerequisites The student has completed the first and second semester of studies (or equivalent competence) and internships (or equivalent work experience).
Objectives The student is able to master the key knowledge and skills required for the palliative and hospice care nursing, be able to make decisions and work independently as a nurse.

The student is able to plan, implement and evaluate palliative nursing work ethically and safely using reliable evidence-based information.

The student is able to work as a part of palliative nursing team, as a responsible nurse in the work unit and as a coordinator of overall care for a client. The students able to work in interprofessional teams as an expert in nursing care.

The student is able to evaluate own skills and develop his or her own professional acting in a goal-oriented manner.
