| Objectives | The student understands the importance of quality and safety in the construction project. The student is able to determine the quality and safety demands of the construction Project. Students is able to make a quality plan of the construction site and supervise the construction process and product quality accordance with the objectives of quality and safety regulations. The students knows the structure and the importance of quality management systems. The student understands the importance of safety as a part of the building and is able to work as a foreman in construction Project, to asses security risks and draw up a site safety plan. |
| Content | Basics of safety management and occupational safety. Guiding safety legislation of the construction site and the employer´s safety responsibilities. Safety risk assessment and development of security plans. Construction site safety tasks, assessment and orientation of the safety. Work phases guidance and leadership in terms of safety. Énvironmental safety in construction. The management of accident situation and the necessary measures. Quality concepts and quality requirements. Quality control procedures and planning in construction. Quality management systems and their significance. |
