The aim of the Degree Program in Civil Engineering is to educate professionals in civil engineering for local and national as well as international construction industry.
The students are prepared to work in design and leadership positions at building sites as well as in management duties in construction projects.
Studies common to all students include basics of civil engineering and subjects such as mathematics, information technology as well as languages and communication.
The students can specialize either in structural design or construction management duties.
The Degree Program in Civil Engineering is actively involved in different international projects in order to ensure that the education remains closely in line with the international construction trends. Good connections to different partner universities abroad offer students varied possibilities to study and work abroad. The language of teaching is mainly Finnish.
