TF00BO01	Structural Mechanics 1 (5 cr)
Prerequisites	Statics and Strength of Materials or corresponding knowledge of above-mentioned courses.
Objectives	The student is able to analyze ordinary hyperstatic structures important in structural engineering. The student can determine diagrams of stress resultants and displacements both manually and with the help of computer software.
Content	Principle of virtual work for one dimensional structures and determination of displacements by principle of virtual work. Force method and moment distribution method. Continuous beams, statically indetermined frames and trusses.
