TF00BN79	Basics of Infra Engineering (10 cr)
Prerequisites	No prerequisites needed.
Objectives	The student knows the basic concepts of traffic engineering. The student recognizes the impacts of traffic and road network systems in built-up and natural environments. The student knows the basic principles of road building and highway maintenance. The student knows the principles of the vertical and horizontal highway geometric planning. The student will know the issues related to water conservation, water recycling hydrology, basics of hydraulic, measurements of hydrostatics, and basics hydrodynamics, water and wastewater treatment plants operations and processing.
Content	The basics of road planning and traffic engineering. Vertical and horizontal highway geometric planning. Water cycle, water resources, basic values and their measurements in hydrology. Hydraulic planning of channels and pipes as well as water purification and waste water treatment
