| Objectives | The student has the basic knowledge of the regulations and constructional demands in designing and implementing foundations, building framework and its envelope. The student can use relevant sources of information, select appropriate structures, and make drawings for implementation using CAD-programs. The student knows the requirements of fire engineering, sound insulation and room acoustics in apartment buildings and can apply the building science, building physical background in construction and its design in the production of work drawings and building components. |
| Content | House Construction 3 ects Structures of foundations, building framework and envelope. Structures of spaces with special requirements for engineering structurally, moisture load or sound (public shelters, cellars, wet areas, elevators) and their structural details and detail planning. Structural demands of technical areas and systems. Fire safety and building regulations for house constructions. Work drawings 2 ects The contents and the making of implementation drawings for multi-storey buildings. |
