| Objectives | Basics of environmental planning, infra structures 3 cr. Knows the relationship between environmental planning and construction. Is able to take the demands of building and environmental legislation into consideration including drainage water. Knows the ecological starting points of community planning and environmentally and socially responsible solutions in use of land. Know the infrastructures and the technical systems in community development, their building- and planning-processes and the sustainable development effect on building design and construction planning Town planning 2 cr. Knows the main historical features of community development. Knows the objectives of landscape planning, basic concepts and planning system, town planning process, planning levels and notations. Is able to decode and apply different levels of town plan within building planning. |
| Content | Basics of environmental planning, infra structures Basics of environmental conservation law including drainage water. Basics of Infrastructures and community technical systems: water supply engineering, sewage, supply of electricity, supply of heat, waste management, transportation systems, roads and traffic planning. Town planning History of society and land-use planning. Finnish town planning system, objectives, levels and notations. Principles of residential urban planning. |
