Prerequisites | The student has passed the following studies: Radiological Procedures of X-ray Examinations and Professional Training of X-ray Examinations I. |
Objectives | The student recognizes the need for care and guidance of patients and is able to guide the patient individually and safely in X-ray examinations. During the radiological procedure, the student demonstrates the ability to assist patients having problems with the musculoskeletal system. The student widens his/her knowledge and skills in X-ray examinations of the respiratory organs and the skeletal system by performing X-ray examinations of the trunk and head. The student demonstrates the ability to plan, implement and assess the most common X-ray examinations. The student is able to implement radiation dose optimization in X-ray examinations. The student also has knowledge of the factors affecting the quality of radiological procedures of X-ray examination. The student is able to document and record patient information. The student demonstrates the ability to implement continuity in patient care. The student explores the first aid readiness of the unit and knows how to act in emergency situations. The student explores the principles of economic and ecologically sustainable development. |
