Objectives | PART 1 (1.5 cr)The student is able to apply knowledge of physical principles of computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Student knows medical use of them and is able to perform quality assurance tests. Student understands the principles of dose management. Student demonstrates ability to compare modalities and imaging receptors taking in to account image quality and patient's and staff's dose optimization. PART 2 (1,5 cr) The student is able to define locate organs and define relationships between organs. |
Content | PART 1 (1,5cr) Physical basics of image and safe use of CT/CBCT and MRI. Radiation dose and factors effecting to dose. Dose calculation and comparing doses between different modalities. Quality assurance and image processing of magnetic, computed tomography and conical beam computed tomography equipment. PART 2 (1.5cr) Topographic anatomy. |
