| Prerequisites | Student participates Safe Use of Medical Radiation. Student signs the commitment to the safety culture in medical use of radiation in OUAS. |
| Objectives | The student demonstrates commitment to the safety culture of OAMK in use of radiation. The student demonstrates ability to explain basic interactions of radiation and matter and production of images and is able to use RIS and to archive pictures taken. Student is able to explain factors affecting to image quality, to perform QA tests to projection radiography and dental imaging devices and calculate patient dose (ESAK, KAP). |
| Content | Professional training with tasks at OAMK RADSIM and written report with reflection. Patient data collection, dose calculation and reporting, QA tests in the professional training or in the project. |
