O4042HO	Safe Use of Mobile C-arm (3 cr)
Prerequisites	No prerequisites needed.
Objectives	The student deepens his/her knowledge about ionizing radiation and radiation safety, and orientates him/herself to the legislation on and instructions for the safe use of radiation. The student is able to take into consideration radiation safety when operating the mobile surgery C-arm equipment. The student is able to communicate about the quality and amount of the radiation in daily practice and interpret risks of radiation.
Content	Basics of radiation physics and radiation biology. Legislation on the use of radiation; instructions for radiation safety. Mobile surgery C-arm equipment; construction and functions. Implementation of radiation safety. Follow-up of radiation doses. Quality assurance.
