OM00CV02 Mathematics and Physics for Optometrist (3 cr)
Prerequisites No prerequisites needed.
Objectives After completing the course, you will be able to understand mathematical thinking and three-dimensionality. You can shape and solve mathematical equations that are needed and utilized in professional studies. You can explain and solve the problems related to the physical basis on which some of the studies in professional subjects are built. You are developing a physical mindset that helps solve practical problems in your own field studies.
Content Basic mathematics and physics in optometry. Mathematical equations and problem-solving. Theory of wave motion, mechanical wave motion and electromagnetic wave motion.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Accomplishment methods Final exam.
