Objectives | I understand the applicability of commonly used remote communication technologies in the context of performing, teaching and producing music remotely. I understand the practices of using remote communication technologies suitable for music transmission and the most important bottlenecks and well-proven operating models that are relevant for successful remote musical collaborations. I will learn to organize and carry out remote musical collaboration. |
Content | The course introduces the use of remote connection technologies used at Oamk (e.g. LoLa, Zoom, UltraGrid and H.232-based traditional video conferencing equipment). The student comes to the course with a detailed plan for her/his remote teaching/perfomance/production project, which already includes an initial agreement with one or more partners who will act as remote collaborators. The study course includes familiarization and pedagogical/operational models for the use of aforementioned equipment as well as the implementation of an individually (or with a small team) executed project via remote connections. |
