MA00BS87	Secondary Instrument D 3 (9 cr)
Prerequisites	MA00BS86 Secondary Instrument D 2
Objectives	Students have acquired some basic skills of their secondary instruments and they have mastered playing/singing repertoires of their level from different periods. Students are competent at the fundamentals of didactics and basic methods of their secondary instrument. They are capable of practising as teacher of music institutes and vocational institutes.
Content	Technical exercises and repertoires of level E/D from different periods. Familiarity with a basic or a more demanding repertoire, demonstrations, guided training lessons, preparation to perform, familiarization with exam evaluation, preparation for and giving a demonstration lesson and lectures, projects and tasks attached to didactics led by the teacher. Teaching of a training pupil in a term on 15 lessons/student. Part of the teaching is carried out under the supervision of the teacher of substance didactics. There is to be a teaching journal kept, which should be presented to the supervising teacher at the end of the term. The content of the practical training is determined by the corresponding didactic course. Evaluated exam.

Further Information	The course content is divided as follows: Secondary Instrument 5cr, Substance Didactics 2 3cr, Pedagogical Practise 1 1cr. Singers give a demonstration lesson with a training student of the same gender.
