M2514MS	The Basics of Ensemble Leading (3 cr)
Prerequisites	No prerequisites needed.
Objectives	Students know the fundamentals of orchestral conducting, rehearsing and the basics of visual conducting. They can work as members of a consort, an ensemble or an orchestra.
Content	Fundamentals of conducting technique, orchestral instruments and scores, becoming acquainted with different ensembles and student orchestras (brass and string orchestras).
Recommended optional programme components	If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
