The aim of the rural development master degree programme is to generate expertise competence in management, development and entrepreneurship. Main focus areas in the curriculum are management skills, research and development skills and business skills.
The degree programme includes degree-based and multidisciplinary studies. From the multidisciplinary studies student chooses those courses that enhance his/her competence goals. Student can choose optional studies also from other universities. Master thesis forms the framework for the studies, in which the student applies and deepens her/his professional skills and expertise. Thesis includes research and development studies.
The studies will be implemented as blended learning. There will be approximately one contact online teaching day per month.
