Objectives Student is able to view ageing in elderly people-orientated way and assess wellbeing, health, physical functioning and the need of care and service.
Student is able to improve health and rehabilitation of elderly person multiprofessionally.
Student is able to provide evidence-based care for an elderly patient.
Student describes care and service networks of an elderly person and identifies the status and the role of relatives and their participation in elderly care.
Student knows the most common illnesses and the medical treatment of the elderly people.
Student identifies challenges of elderly care.
Content 1) Promoting health and rehabilitation of the elderly person 2 cr
2) Nursing of the elderly person 2 cr
Care and support plan of the elderly person
3) Geriatrics 1 cr
