Objectives | 1) Student is able to plan, implement and evaluate patients, who are in need of immediate care 2) Student understands pathophysiology behind the abnormal vital signs and is able to take the appropriate actions 3) Student is able to analyse and interpret data collected from different sources, and draw conclusions of patient's condition 4) Student is able to carry out duties of nurse in a emergency situation 5) Student is able to act in different team member roles whilst performing basic or advanced resuscitation 6) Student is able to justify the medication and fluids used in immediate care 7) Student is able recognize needs of relative and participates in guidance as a member of team 8) Student is able to apply research in patient’s care 9) Student is able to work in Swedish spoken and Nordic work environments and networks in his own professional field 10) Student is able to prevent and manage patient challenging behavior by applying various methods to ensure patient and work safety. |
