TR00CX97 Robots in Production (5 cr)
Prerequisites -TR00CX96 Implementation of Robots 5 ECTS
Objectives -Student chooses and integrates a robot as a part of an authentic production cell.
-Student evaluates the profitability of the planned robotization solution productionally and financially.
Content -Operations of a robot in a robot cell in co-operation with other devices.
-A robot cell is planned observing productional and financial profitability
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Accomplishment methods -The required course materials are compiled in a network-based learning environment.
Execution methods -Design of a robot cell is carried out using simulation software.
-Profitability calculation for investment of robot cell design

1. Student designs a robot cell for different working life's situations in a authentical environment by applying common terms and theoretical knowledge used in the industry
2. Student evaluates and considers the impact of the robot cell, reliability of it and how to use it in different ways in a production
3. Student reflects him or herself as a robot system developer
4. Student evaluates financial aspect of implementing the robot cell
