Objectives The student names and defines the central concepts of welfare technology and identifies existing practical applications of welfare technology in the social and healthcare area. He/she describes development and opportunities of welfare technology in the social and health sector. The student recognizes ethical challenges related to welfare technology.
Content The concepts, development and possibilities of welfare technology in the social and health sector. Ethical perspectives and information security. Applications of well-being technology in the client's everyday life and rehabilitation. Future possibilities and sustainable development of welfare technology.
