Objectives | The student attains and adopts essential theoretical knowledge of developmental psychology and applies it to his/her professional behaviour. He/she understands the social cognitive causality in an individual¿s development. The student identifies and produces personal thinking and acting models as well as emotional skills in reciprocal relationships between different types of individuals. The student assesses and develops his/her own personality in a multi-professional working environment. |
Content | Perspectives on developmental psychology. Psychological concepts of man. Psychological development of the human being throughout the lifespan. Social-cognitive theory and an individual¿s development; reciprocal determinism between an individual¿s biological, cognitive and emotional aspects and the environment and behaviour. Metacognitive skills: emotional and social skills. |
