Prerequisites | Basics of Prehospital Emergency Care or corresponding knowledge |
Objectives | Student is able to describe emergency care principles and practices as well as special features of prehospital environments and cooperation of authorities concerning the care of emergency patients. Student is able to describe the basic principles of how to apply skills necessary to support and facilitate emergency patients in prehospital environments. Student is able to communicate with the patient and team members. Student is able to describe patient safety principles and proficiency requirements for emergency care as well as nursing principles and practices, and shows ability to reflect on his/her learning process. Student demonstrates responsibility and initiative in his/her clinical training activities. |
