TM00DU16 Manufacturing techniques 1 (5 cr)
Prerequisites No prerequisites.
Objectives The student recognizes typical engineering manufacturing methods and is able to choose the right manufacturing methods for typical engineering products The student is able to make mechanical engineering measurements and analyze the results using statistical methods.

Identify the most common manufacturing methods used in the workshop. You can make simple machine workshop measurements using traditional instruments.

You are able to choose the manufacturing methods for simple engineering products. You justify the measuring instruments you have chosen and interpret the measurement results correctly.

excellent (5)
You justify your chosen manufacturing techniques according to production and economic criteria. You analyse independently generated measurement results by comparing the given goals.
