Description


TM00DU14 Engineering Physics 2 (5 cr)
Prerequisites Engineering Physics 1 or equivalent knowledge.
Objectives The student understands the meaning of the physical phenomena in engineering. The student is able to plan and implement physical measurements in practical cases. The student can analyze numerical data using physical basic equations. The subjects concern basic DC and AC circuits, sensors, periodical behavior, energy, power, and others which we find to be topical.
Content Basics of DC and AC circuits. Voltage, current, resistance, impedance, power and energy consumption. Sensors and measuring sample que. Data analysis and producing results and figures. Periodical behavior. Datasheets of technical equipment.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Accomplishment methods To be agreed in the beginning of the course. Student can also pass the course by final exam.
