Objectives	The student deepens his/her knowledge about blood banking by familiarizing him/herself with at least one sub-area of his/her choice.
Content	Rare blood groups. Blood, plasma products and blood banking. Blood transfusion: complications, safety and quality assurance. Alternatives to blood transfusion.
