Objectives | The student has knowledge of the basics of molecular biology and gene technology. The student familiarizes him/herself with the use of gene technology and cell culture in diverse laboratory practices. |
Content | The fundamentals of gene technology. DNA isolation and techniques for DNA replication. Electrophoretic techniques: DNA isolation, RNA isolation and DNA sequencing. Basics of cell culture and the use of cultured cells. |
