Student demonstrates understanding of radiation safety procedures and dose optimization concerning patient, staff and her /him self. The student is able to communicate about the quality and amount of the radiation in nuclear medicine and interpret risks of radiation. |
Content | Radioactivity. Radioactive radiation: measuring and imaging devices. Preparation of radiopharmaceuticals. Nuclear medicine examinations. Radiation safety in nuclear medicine examinations. |
