O1006BA Laboratory Techniques and Instrumentation II (3 cr)
Prerequisites No prerequisites needed.
Objectives The student has knowledge of photometric and electrochemical methods, and demonstrates the ability to examine under the microscope. The student familiarizes him/herself with the construction and operating principles of the most commonly used laboratory instruments, water quality requirements, the use of chemicals and mixing solutions.
Content Microscopic examination. Photometric and electrochemical methods, and basic instruments. Laboratory water quality. Mathematics concerning the use of chemicals and mixing solutions.
