ON00DY35 Development and management of the service level of emergency services (5 cr)

Objectives Student
- Understand the obligations imposed by laws, regulations and service level agreements on the access, organisation and management of emergency services and other home-based services.
- Analyses and practices the development of quality and access to emergency services from a patient-oriented perspective.
- Applies knowledge through development tasks to design different care pathways, taking into account existing and projected future resources and costs
Content - Laws, regulations, service level agreements, triage and emergency care guidelines for outpatient services.
- Quality and patient safety in primary care and emergency services
- Current and future emergency services and care pathways
- Future data resources, statistics and forecasting to assist managers and developers
- Digitalisation opportunities for future resourcing
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Accomplishment methods Student:
- Develops his/her competences through active participation and discussion in lectures and webinars.
- Participate in and contribute to active and interactive discussions and presentations.
- Through assignments, practise leading and developing current and future care chains and services into patient-centred functional service packages.
