Objectives | Student - Understand the obligations imposed by laws, regulations and service level agreements on the access, organisation and management of emergency services and other home-based services. - Analyses and practices the development of quality and access to emergency services from a patient-oriented perspective. - Applies knowledge through development tasks to design different care pathways, taking into account existing and projected future resources and costs |
Content | - Laws, regulations, service level agreements, triage and emergency care guidelines for outpatient services. - Quality and patient safety in primary care and emergency services - Current and future emergency services and care pathways - Future data resources, statistics and forecasting to assist managers and developers - Digitalisation opportunities for future resourcing |

Accomplishment methods | Student: - Develops his/her competences through active participation and discussion in lectures and webinars. - Participate in and contribute to active and interactive discussions and presentations. - Through assignments, practise leading and developing current and future care chains and services into patient-centred functional service packages. |
