Title: Master of Health Care

The graduate from Degree Programme in Development and Management of Acute and Emergency Care is capable to work in various expert, development and leadership positions in health and social care, especially in out-of-hospital emergency care and inhospital acute care services. Student also have good operative management skills and ability to work in situations including interprofessional cooperation.

Student can analyse and evaluate the context of prehospital and other acute care services as a part of health and social services and the influence of major reforms and policy directions for social and health care. Student is able to effectively manage current and future challenges in EMS.

Student is capable to apply appropriately different kind of evidence based, innovative and person centered methods in developing emergency care services and leadership or (of your choise) clinical expertise in emergency patient care. Student is able to take account economical issues and principles of sustainable development. Student can analyse and evaluate his/her competencies and challenges for personal development in leadership or clinical expertise in emergency care.

Master`s level graduates gain competence for planning, expert and management tasks in different sectors in the field of health and social care,
especially in the field of emergency and acute care services.The education will be implemented as multi-modal teaching, i.e. contact training and distance learning in a web-based environment.
