| Further Information | See the Course information for Basic German I in DIB Basic Studies. If you already have studied German before, please consult the German language teacher Miisa Tanner how to proceed with your German language studies (in addition to the course 4 ECTS in Basic Studies, there is this compulsory course 4 ECTS in Professional Studies). Alternatively, if you already took a new foreign language in Basic level (for example, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian etc.) with 4 ECTS instead of the Basic German I (4 ECTS), you can continue with this same new foreign language 4 ECTS in Professional studies. However, if you already know German, and your German language skills are adequate to take Basic German II (4 ECTS) you can also consider this option (consult German language teacher Miisa Tanner) or take another more demanding course in German to further improve your German language skills. Always consult your DIB tutor teacher about your Personal Study Plan. Note that you must have a minimum of 8 ECTS of foreign languages (for example: 4 ECTS + 4 ECTS). If you study more than 8 ECTS, the additional language credits will be a part of your DIB Free Choice Studies. |
