Objectives | The student learns to communicate basic information about himself/herself. The student understands the Finnish alphabets, vowel harmony and pronunciation. The student learns to make and answer simple personal questions. The student can use the basic phrases related to greeting and using numbers. |
Content | Themes and vocabulary: Introducing oneself, greetings, personal details, asking and answering, numbers, countries and languages, family, days of the week, expressions of time Structures: alphabets, vowel harmony, some common verbs, pronouns, genitive, interrogatives, verb types 1-5, negative sentence. |
