| Prerequisites | Encountering the Client and Taking Care of Daily Living Activities Noncommunicable Diseases and Nursing Surgical Nursing Recognizing and responding to the deteriorating patient Interprofessional assessment of the need for patient health and social service Mental Health and Substance Abuse Nursing and Family Nursing I |
| Objectives | 1. Student is able to apply multiple patient education methods in coaching and motivating the client in relation to his health and health problems and support patients´ adherence to care. 2. The student is able to work independently in different nurse-led healthcare services using client-oriented methods and act in order to promote health and welfare. 3. The student carries out client-oriented outpatient nursing interprofessionally and is able to guide the patient to appropriate care pathways. 4. The student knows the basics of vaccinations. 5. The student is able to help clients in different age-groups and with special needs, different backgrounds and developmental disabilities. 6. The student is able to apply knowledge of medical conditions in practice. |
