| Prerequisites | Course YY00BH40 LEAD-solution development. |
| Objectives | A student will analyze the needs of the industry she/he is studying. A student will act as an expert in the field she/he is studying for a team. A student will apply the knowledge of one’s own field and follow the relevant professional code of ethics. A student will deepen his/her knowledge about concept development. He/she will design and implement a user centered solution; a method, a product or a service as part of an interdisciplinary team. When doing that the student pays attention to sustainability. The student will make either a project or research plan for a thesis or other project. She/he will execute this thesis or project according to the plan. The student will deepen his/her competences about roles in an interdisciplinary team. The student will apply the principles relating to an entrepreneurial mindset. A student will recognize his/her own strengths and areas to develop when working as part of a team and in an interdisciplinary process. A student will apply the knowledge gained in different situations when working in a team. A student will assess actively in relation to the learning objectives associated with his/ her own knowledge and performance as well as knowledge and performance of his/her team mates. A student will produce a concrete demonstration of a solution, a demo, as a result of participating in the learning process. The demo is completed in co-operation with an interdisciplinary and multicultural team. The demo should be potentially viable from a business, cost and quality point of view. A student will develop his/her skills to communicate about professional matters as well as the solution developed. A student will communicate with his/her team members, different professionals and stakeholders. A student will develop networks with professionals in his/ her field of study, companies and other students. |
